Child Safety Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

This policy explains Hicoo's zero-tolerance approach to content or conduct that endangers children and the measures we take to protect minors.

Quick Navigation

1 Age Restriction

Hicoo is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. Users under the age of 18 may not create an account or use this application.

  • Users must confirm during registration that they are at least 18 years old.
  • Any attempt to falsify age in order to gain access to the platform violates our Terms of Service and will result in immediate account termination.
  • We implement age verification measures and reserve the right to request proof of age when necessary.
2 Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on Hicoo:

  • Any content that depicts or promotes child sexual exploitation or abuse, including but not limited to images, videos, text, drawings, animation, or audio recordings.
  • Any sexualized depiction of minors in any format, including illustrations or animated content.
  • Grooming behavior: any conduct in which an adult attempts to build a relationship with a minor for exploitative purposes, including through flattery, gifts, or manipulation.
  • Content that encourages or instructs minors to engage in dangerous or harmful activities.
  • Any form of communication that causes or intends to cause physical or psychological harm to minors.
3 Content Moderation

We use a layered approach to detect and remove harmful content:

  • Automated detection: We use advanced machine learning and AI-based content scanning systems to detect potentially harmful content in real time, especially for images and avatars.
  • Human review: Our trained moderation team reviews flagged content and conducts ongoing audits to identify violations that automated systems may miss.
  • Proactive monitoring: We continuously improve our detection systems and monitor emerging threats to child safety on the platform.

When potentially harmful content is detected, it will be removed immediately or replaced with a default placeholder image, and the account will be flagged for further review.

4 Reporting Mechanism

If you encounter any content or behavior that may violate this policy:

  • Use the in-app reporting feature to directly flag the content or user.
  • Send an email to with relevant details.

All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly. We may not be able to respond individually to every report, but each report will be reviewed and appropriate action will be taken.

5 Enforcement Measures

Users who violate this Child Safety Policy will face immediate and serious consequences:

  • For minor or first-time violations, content will be removed and an account warning will be issued.
  • For repeated violations, accounts will be temporarily suspended.
  • For severe violations, including any content involving child sexual exploitation, accounts will be permanently banned.
  • When we become aware of content or conduct that may constitute a criminal offense, we will report it to relevant law enforcement authorities and child protection organizations.
